Updates

August 10, 2009: Do.you.KNOW how many times I've tried to update this site since way back then? No? Good, you're better off being oblivious. Anyway, to compensate for not updating in over half a year, here's around 500mb of tunes for you. We've got some Nell, The Cure, a short Michael Jackson tribute, and of course A TRIBUTE TO JASMINE YOU OF VERSAILLES because he passed away yesterday (yes, that was my motivating factor for getting this up now). I hope you all enjoy this shitload of music, and I apologive for being a lazy fatty :U I'm surprised I still remember HTML and crap hahaha.
January 30, 2009: HOLY SHIT LATE UPDATE. I AM SO SORRY TO THE LIKE 5 PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY VISIT THIS SITE SRS. Uuhm, anyway ... rotation. Yeah, biiiig update for your pleasure since I'm a lazy fuck who can't motivate herself.
December 4, 2008: Um, a few days late. Y'all will live - especially since I'm pretty sure that I've only got a total running of about 2 visitors. GEEZ UNPOPULARITY. I SHOULD FIND SOME AFFILIATES.
November 17, 2008: AHAHA. OVER A MONTH LATE. I'm such a bum. Oh well, I'm allowed some laziness. To compensate for my lack of activity, I've thrown up such a buttload of songs it's enough to make yer head fall off or ... something like that. I just got lazy when I realized that I needed to make a new layout, so I didn't feel quite up to updating xD; Well, on the bright side, this looks pretty spiffy as a layout, and it's showing my development in design, so ... GO ME!

RULES

♫ If you own the album that the music's on, feel free to keep what you've downloaded for the rest of time. Otherwise, delete the music within 72 hours. Or 24. Or 48. It depends on where you live and what laws you hafta obey.
♫ Like the music? SUPPORT THE ARTIST. Buy the album. I do. And it's putting me in debt. DOES IT MATTER?! NO! We want to feed our musicians! Especially these little skinny Asian men. You don't want them to waste away, right? Head over to CDJapan, YesAsia, Amazon, or your own choice of CD buying places.
♫ I am in no way affiliated to these artists. They own their own shit, srsly.
♫ If you want to request, feel free to email me at the address listed waaaayyy at the bottom. Request anything at the moment, as my playlist is nonexistant for now.
♫ Don't rely on my rating scale - it's just my opinion, after all. Don't let it sway your decision of downloading a song.
♫ I'm not responsible if your computer crashes, gets a disease, starts doing the YMCA, or some other weird thing.
♫ Not really a rule, but it's a known and well-acknowledged fact that I sound like I'm on some intense drugs while typing these descriptions. They usually end up not making that much sense.

Music

Tributes, The Cure, Nell, and various other things to entertain yourself with whilst you realize ever-so slowly that you're running out of space on your computer. Cheers!

Versailles [Jasmine You Tribute]
Did anyone else almost cry yesterday when they got the news? I kinda withered up inside. The only thing that's keeping me from going emo is the thought of Jasmine joining the ranks of Kami, hide, and Kazuki. Think they formed a band in their afterlife? That would be so damn awesome. hide and Kazuki would so be having epic duels in songs with their guitars, you know.
I have to admit I was never THE biggest Versailles fan, but their music is pretty damn good. Most of the time it fits the bill of gothic-rock-hardcore-awesome or something like that. Their music kinda reminds me of the Malice Mizer/Moi dix Mois mixed with the typical driven Jrock sound. The raging drum is almost always the most prominent thing, with driven bass and guitar to back it. Vocals ... erm. I suck at describing vocals, haha. Well, if you can understand this, the vocals have that ... hollow-y sort of feel to'em, y'know? Nice and deep, though. It all comes together to make great music, so please listen and enjoy~

Michael Jackson Tribute
What can I say that properly describes the man known as The King of Pop? His music is as legendary as his story, would be the proper thing to say. I disregard his personal life entirely, however; what made this man so amazing was his ability to create such wonderful music. Hell, he wrote for The Beatles. He set (and still retains) best-selling album of all time, and will probably hold that for decades to come. For my personal tribute to him, I picked out songs from his solo career that I loved dearly.
MJ's style spanned several genres and surpassed language barriers. He managed to churn out ballads, r&b, pop ... We can't forget the impact his dancing left on the world, either; for those of you here who only enjoy Asian tunes, you can see his influence on most of the Asian musicians who try to dance.

ALBUM: Take Me to the Sea
ARTIST: Jaguar Love

I first discovered Jaguar Love when I went to see Patrick Wolf at the Summer Nylon Music Tour '09 in June. Despite the fact that it was a two-man act and that the pit probably had no more than ten people in it, I still managed to get run into and tangled up in wires ... because they dove into the pit and flailed around like the worst moshers in history. I had to give them props for their enthusiasm and, even more to my surprise, they were damn amazing. Hence why you're getting this album!
The music is damn catchy, with driven guitars, rolling bass, and awesome drums. Despite the constant near-falsetto-ish singing, the beats will manage to keep you hooked. Also, take a minute to listen to those lyrics; if there's one thing Jaguar Love's got, it's amazing lyrics to match those catchy headbang-rockout-GETMOVING tunes. Not only are the lyrics amazing, but they have meaning. Like, hardcore meaning. I tell you, go look them up now on songmeanings.net or something.

ALBUM: Modern Science
Artist: Modern Science

How the hell did I stumble across this two-man band, anyway? Whatever. The band consists of two brothers, Kevin and Kane Churko, from Las Vegas. Despite being a pretty good band, they're still relatively unknown and can be considered indie.
The style can best be described as a throwback to electro-funk with rock undertones, and combined with catchy lyrics that make you wanna sing along, this band has got what it takes to go far. One article described the sound as Duran Duran meets The Producers with some Peter Gabriel thrown in for the party, while another said it was more Depeche Mode meets Stevie Wonder meets Peter Gabriel. Hopefully that gives you a decent idea of what they sound like, but then again, it's pretty hard to describe them anyway.
Hey! Instead of listening to me ramble about them, take a listen:

Synchronicity | SUGIZO | Soundtrack | 7.97 | (Infinity to the infinity power times more infinity and childish stuff like that/5) | You've wondered. Now it's here - the song that inspired the name of this site and that made me love that which is Sugizo ten times more than I already did. This is a tune of unimaginably awesome proportions. Maybe it's the way it starts out so simply and somehow manages to become complex while continuing to keep the tune weaved around the guitar. Maybe it's the mystical, far-off feel to the piece. Maybe I'm a sucker for pretty sounds (scratch that, I AM a sucker for pretty sounds).
Either way, this song is pure awesome to me. If I loved it enough to name the site after it, then it must be something pretty amazing, right? The way each instrument is allowed its own integration into the song... oh. Joy. I fangasm at this peaceful piece ;A;
Uh, if you dear visitors couldn't tell, I am at a complete loss of proper words to describe this song in all its glory. Yes, it's purely instrumental, and yes, it's pretty slow compared to what you would probably like. But y'know what? Give it a shot and see how much you like it. I think you'll be in for a pleasent surprise!

... and for the record, no, I have not seen the movie Soundtrack, and I doubt I will any time in the near future even though I really should because I'm such a freak of a fangirl and-*shuts up* Right. That's all I hafta say.

I've been making websites since I was ... oh, I'd guesstimate twelve-ish, so it's been happening for a while. I do know my way around coding, but I'm still learning some trickier things because I was forced to go cold turkey on web design for a few years D: Ah well.
